The team led by the Portuguese manager scored four goals in under 20 minutes in the first half. The final goal of the match was scored in the 90+5th minute by Elliot Anderson.
With this result, Nottingham are five points clear of Tottenham and three points ahead of West Ham. Sunderland, meanwhile, are in 12th place with 46 points.
