Duas épocas depois de ter sido campeão pelo APOEL, Ricardo Sá Pinto regressa ao Chipre para orientar o Pafos, clube que disputou a fase final da Liga dos Campeões.
O treinador vai treinar atletas como Pepê, Domingos Quina, Dani Silva, Alexandre Brito, David Luiz, João Correia e Anderson Silva, que passaram pelo futebol português. Depois de ter começado a temporada no Esteghal, clube iraniano, o técnico de 53 anos assume o comando do Pafos a seis jogos para o final da temporada, cinco para o campeonato e um para a taça.
No apuramento para campeão o clube Pafos está em quarto lugar, a três pontos do terceiro lugar. Já para a taça falta apenas jogar a final e derrotar Apollon Limassol.
Sá Pinto vai viver a segunda experiência da sua carreira no Chipre. É de recordar que o técnico português já passou por clubes como o Estrela Vermelha (Sérvia), OFI Creta e Atromitos (Grécia), Al Fateh (Arábia Saudita), Standard Liège (Bélgica), Légia de Varsóvia (Polónia), entre outros clubes.

Ricardo Sá Pinto is returning to Cyprus to manage Pafos
Two seasons after winning the title with APOEL, Ricardo Sá Pinto returns to Cyprus to take charge of Pafos, a club that reached the Champions League knockout stages.
The coach will be working with players such as Pepê, Domingos Quina, Dani Silva, Alexandre Brito, David Luiz, João Correia and Anderson Silva, all of whom have played in the Portuguese league. Having started the season at Esteghal, an Iranian club, the 53-year-old takes charge of Pafos with six games remaining in the season – five in the league and one in the cup.
In the league title race, Pafos are currently fourth, three points behind third place. As for the cup, they need only to play the final and beat Apollon Limassol.
Sá Pinto is set to embark on the second spell of his career in Cyprus. It is worth noting that the Portuguese manager has previously managed clubs such as Red Star Belgrade (Serbia), OFI Crete and Atromitos (Greece), Al Fateh (Saudi Arabia), Standard Liège (Belgium) and Legia Warsaw (Poland), amongst others.
